This year's New Orleans Saints are looking to return to the playoffs, after a disapointing 2007 campaign. Expectations are high in the organization, for the players and the coaching staff. Running Back Reggie Bush will be attempting his first 1000 yard rushing season of his career. The defense will be led by veteran cornerback Mike McKenzie, entering his 10 season. "We've got to get going early and keep it going," he said at the Saints media day. "We're in a tough division. We can't afford to slip up and expect to be a Super Bowl contender." Defensive coordinator Gary Gibbs will be under a lot of scrutiny this season. The Saints calling card has been its high scoring offense, but in order to truly make a run at the championship, the defense needs to catch up. This should be an interesting year for Saints football.
