TE Vernon Davis was once again Smith\'s favorite target, totaling 104 yards receiving and 3 TDs. RB Frank Gore added 115 yards on the ground, and RB Jamaal Charles put the game away with 2 4th-quarter TD runs. Charles finished the day with 50 yards rushing.
The 49er defense stuffed the struggling Ram offense, holding them to only 176 total yards. DE Derrick Harvey led the way, pulling in 6 tackles and 3 sacks. MLB Patrick Willis added 2 sacks of his own.
Smith was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week following his 4 TD performance.
The 49ers improve to 11-2 and officially clinched another NFC West title. They now can look forward to battling the 12-1 Eagles for homefield advantage. The 49ers stay at home and welcome the 4-9 Oakland Raiders, who bring the worst offense in the NFL to the table.
