QB Alex Smith torched the Seahawk secondary for 5 TD passes as the 49ers built up a 28-7 lead en route to a 35-21 victory over Seattle in Seattle.
Smith threw for 251 yards on only 13 of 19 passing and also ran for 2 first downs (25 yards total). TE Vernon Davis (96 yards receiving, 3 TDs) and WR Darrell Jackson (78 yards receiving, 2 TDs) were Smith\'a main targets. RB Frank Gore also added 120 yards on the ground to keep the Seattle defense in check and allowed Smith to use his playaction passes to pick apart the Seahawks.
Defensively, the 49ers had a solid 1st half but gave up a few TDs in the 4th quarter. CB Nate Clements had an interception and MLB Patrick Willis had 6 tackles.
