The Indians came into the third game of the series wanting a win.
That is exactly what they got as the Indians steamed rolled over the
Tigers with a 16-2 victory. The player of the game had to be the
shortstop for the Indians Jhonny Peralta. He got five runs batted in to
lead the Indians to this victory. Another noticeable player would be
the designed hitter Travis Hafner. Hafner got a homerun in the fifth to
end a eight run inning off with a blast.
The Indians and the Tigers will meet again in the fourth game of the
series. The Indians will give Paul Byrd the start. The Tigers will send
Mike Maroth as their starter. After this series end our Indians will go
to Balitmore to face the Orioles in a three game series.
